1.Register a Domain Name for a Period of Two Years
Register your domain name for at least two years when you do so. This signals to search engines that your website is a long-term fixture rather than a temporary patch.
2.Include Your Website In All Search Engines
Make sure to submit your website’s URL to the top search engines. The URL is the address of your website, like www.yourname.com.
3.Avoid Using Frames
A single window, not frames, should be used to construct your website. When trying to read your website, search engines are substantially hampered by frames.
4.Be able to navigate easily
To help search engines browse across your website, make sure the main pages have text links at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, use a site map. Make sure your design includes a navigation route with clear links to each page on the website.
5.Content is King
Ensure that your writing is precise and short. Ensure that the content on your website is “information rich.”
6.Keywords Are Everything
META tags are a way to describe the contents of your website. Give your website designer a single line for a description and up to seven keywords for the best results.
7.On your homepage, clearly state what you do.
Your homepage should at the very least have an introductory sentence that describes what you do, similar to a mission statement.
8.Establish connections with allied organisations
Search engines will like you more if there are more links pointing to and from your website.
