Two levels of support are given for all Dedicated Server hosting plans: Core-managed and cPanel support. Every package comes along with standard core-managed support. Additionally, we are available 24x7 for any assistance you may need with hardware, booting, network or login issues. Our System Administration Support will also assist you with basic cPanel & Firewall setup and their issues.
How long does it take for my Dedicated Server to be ready once I've placed the order?

You can access your Dedicated server in 3 ways: 1) SSH: Through the root credentials given by us. 2) cPanel - Through your cPanel control panel 3) Dedicated server control panel - Through our web-based control panel bundled with every Dedicated hosting order.
Can I configure my own RAID for drives?
The Dedicated Servers come pre-configured with RAID 1. At present, we don’t allow customisation of RAID level.
Which billing panels are offered?
ChennaiHost offers WHMCS as a billing panel. You can purchase the license from us at a significantly lower cost and install it on your server.
Do I get email as a part of this Dedicated Server?
Yes, you get access to email within cPanel, if you have it installed. Through this, you can get access to Webmail. If you require a comprehensive emailing solution with chat and collaboration tools, you can opt for G Suite by Google.
What is port speed?
The server uplink port speed is up to 1 Gbps.
Can I use a Dedicated Server for email marketing?
Dedicated Servers can be used for Websites, Databases, Custom Applications, Ecommerce, DNS, File Storage and Emails. Emails, however, must be restricted to personal, organisational or professional purposes. The use of Dedicated Servers to send out mass emails/marketing is NOT recommended and can attract penalties.
Can I use virtualisation software on the server?
Our Dedicated Servers are virtualised (1:1). Thus, nested virtualisation will not work due to network restrictions on the host system.
Do you provide any backup service?
We don’t have any backup solution at the moment. Yet, we strongly recommend that you maintain a remote backup to avoid any hassles during an ill-fated incident.
Do you have a backup & recovery solution for Dedicated Servers?
Yes. We provide a cloud based backup & recovery solution by Acronis, which can be purchased at an additional cost with your dedicated server.
- Acronis backup is an easy & reliable solution which helps to take regular real-time backups of database, files, mailboxes & disks. It offers customized options like full or incremental backups, with a daily, weekly or monthly frequency.
- The dedicated server backup data is fully encrypted against ransomware, and restoration is fast & instant.
- Acronis backup is available for USA & Asia server locations. Any incremental purchase of backup volume will add more volume to an existing Acronis panel (depending on the location).
- New customers can buy Acronis Backup add-on in the purchase flow whereas existing customers can buy it from their control panel.
- Acronis Cyber Backup add-on is not covered under the money back guarantee refund policy.
- The tenure & renewal cycle of Acronis backup is independent of the hosting tenure purchased.
